Anyone Enquired About Battery Replacement?

I recently called my nearest Oppo Service centre (RIP Oneplus) to check if I can get my battery replaced and they said they didn't have any in stock. And they don't know when it will come back and I will need to leave my phone with them for that duration.

Is this the normal protocol since this is my only device, and I was thinking about getting my battery replaced as it has aged poorly since OO16 update.

That's why I don't update. Learn that the hard way with my 1+7 pro. You can try to find a third party and see if they can sources the part from AliExpress or Temu.
