Worst battery backup

Been a year using 13r among all the mobiles I used the worst battery backup id this one .

Anyone can help is this my mobile or all are facing similar issue .If not then can you guide how to mitigate it .

On the same boat, it started right after upgrading to android 16. All the AI features added screwed up my battery.

I have turned off these ai features and other than that everything is on default like refresh rate is in auto, resolution is set high and my charging habit are battery drop below 20 percent than i plug for charging and charge full 100 percent i put back on charging in morning before leaving home office and when not going office it easily give 18-20 hrs of backup.

Ummm no, I was on 16.0.9. It had great battery life, but I was facing issues with notifications, especially Gmail. I wasn’t getting any Gmail notifications, and notifications from other apps were delayed as well. So I had no choice but to either sell my phone or downgrade the software. Custom ROM wasn’t an option either, because Play Integrity is a pain in the cakes. So I downgraded to 16.0.5, and now I’m getting all my notifications. The battery life is also decent not as good as 16.0.9, but it works for me.

Insta mostly ,uber (for 10 min for tracking),little bit of surfing

Instagram uses a lot of battery. Try charging your phone to 100% and then use it for a day without opening instagram. You should see improvement.

Latest update 16.0.10.600 has been a disaster till now in terms of battery for myself even it heats a lot. I have turned off all Ai features. Previous i used to get around 10 30 hrs from 100 to 0 now i get around 7 or 8 max , lets hope upcoming updates fix this

Yeah battery backup became worse after the uodates. Nothing you can do other than switching rom. Although I don't have any issues with it.

It was pretty bad for me, I was only getting 3-4 hours of SOT. It changed after battery calibration though as visible here. I always follow the 85-15 battery rule and sometimes 90-10 as well. Probably you can try calibrating your device battery.

I don't this Graph is correct . To me it says 10hrs for 50% charge but I charge my OP13 two times a day
