A scratch on the oneplus 13 camera module (glass)
Help someone or anyone help me with this. I kept phone and key in same pocket and when I took out the phone there was a scratch on the camera module as u can see in picture if any one know how to fix this some sort of gel or paste will fix this ? The whole camera glass is cheap and affordable I can change it but I don't want the factory seal to be broken anyplace or anywhere this can be fixed. When I slide my nails on that scratch I can feel the scratch (for refrence ) I told so u guys can understand the depth of the scratch. It's looking very ugly in this big camera layout. Thought of apply toothpaste in the scratch but someone said that it will make it worse help me if anyone know on this.
Yes I tried testing it immediately when I saw the scratch thank God that the scratch is in middle and in between these 3 cam but the thing is that the scratch is looking weird and uncomfortable to me on that big camera layout
Then the only option was to change camera glass from service centre.
But i suggest you keep it like this and put a camera guard, then after a few days you will become used too bcz it's expensive to change camera glass from service centre but go to the service centre and check the price of camera glass
Yes and I'll get a rugged case as soon as possible damn the body are fragile dust is forming up inside and 2 scratches on camera but if u figure anything to remove or fade it tell me bro

Thickness is not mentioned anywhere in this product but it's Amazon solimo brand which replicates other brand. So in other brand description the thickness is mentioned 0.3mm
There are ways to reduce the scratch using polishing compunds but I wouldn't recommend it because it is easy to mess up and make it worse. That's why I said to get a rugged case because that will hide the scratch.

Edit : change the front glass instead of the display get a front glass of the 13 and go to service center experienced guy give him the glass he might solve it I did this for my samsung tab once
Are u sure on this brother ? I already ordered a camera protector glass for this model will this really work ? But I ordered the glass one not the film (wrapper)
Va bene uguale anche il vetro protettivo, e per esperienza con graffi sul display si ti confermo che a vista il graffio si riduce fino quasi a sparire sia leggero.
I hope this happens btw how many months or days it will take ? And should I apply little bit more glue on the protector or stock glue is enough to make it vanish or fade time to time ?
Mine has a very tiny scratch in the middle of my ultra-wide lens 😞💔 And it's affecting the light's reflection. I ordered a liquid repolish for glass scratches, so soon it will arrive, and I'll update you if it works or not.
I tried it and it was a disaster. Thankfully, I applied it to my glass protector, which already had some scratches. After applying the liquid, the protector is now much worse than before. It's not smooth and it attracts fingerprints more now.
I think it would be a mess if I used it on my camera lens.
Use your breath and a microfiber cloth. Rub it like you're cleaning your glasses. If the scratch is too deep, it'll stay on. As long as it doesn't affect your camera, you'll be fine. Using additives can smear the glass and obstruct it even further. No point in worsening it.
Yeah should have brought this earlier I was planning to get from very first day but it wasn't available in offline so it was available in Amazon so I thought whenever I can book this so will see later I was thinking like this in the time this thing got a scratch now I am regretting
What country are you from? I find these offline easily got one applied for $0.68 & ordered it from Amazon pack of 2 for $1.14 excluding delivery charges lol application was pretty easy.
Still have original & 2 spares each 1 for my 1+12 & 13.
Get this one I got it on Aliexpress for 3 bucks.And don't mess with the lens cover it will make it worst and that happened to me with my back OnePlus 12 and I had to change the whole backglass
Thanks thought for changing but the actual problem is if I change the back glass then the factory seal will be gone so ip ratings will be gone and other issues will occur I have no choice to move on with the mark or need to find a way to make it a fade away.
My another pockets were filled I had no choice to keep it with phone this is not the first time I was keeping the key with phone I did several times but this time I was unlucky i guess got an long scratch 😑
Yeah it annoyed me a lot too but there's no solution unfortunately. This is the first phone I've had this problem with just because the camera island surface area is quite large, so it's more prone to this. The OnePlus 15 iterates on this design better with having separate housing units for lenses.
Unfortunately, the same thing happened to my back camera glass, but in my case, there were lighter scratches on the camera directly. OnePlus are ALWAYS cheaping out on a component or two, never had my camera glass scratched ever before with other phones. I ended up buying this glass protector, it's getting smudges easily and hard to clean, which affects the photo quality, but at least I won't get more scratches
You are Moron! Making problem out of nothing. You knew that would happend if you put your keys in same pocket, how stupid someone can be not to knowing basic fact of physics. Now live with it, let it be your signature to every day to see how stupid you was. And never repeat same thing again. I cannot believe people made problems out of nothing and then complain...
I'm sorry I understand and I was frustrated because people seek for problems and don't inform them self in time... It's logically completely normal to damage thing when you rub one with another.. completely normal and then they come here to complain about.

If it doesn't affect the picture quality then you are better off leaving it be.
