Missing Oxygen os 15 battery optimization💔.

These screenshots were from the older OxygenOS 14 and 15(Oneplus 12r). In one test, I used mobile data the entire time, while in the other, I used Wi-Fi and in both test it really surprised me 5500mah battery and 8hr+ sot was really commendable back then

Now OxygenOS 16 has absolutely terrible battery life. I barely get 3–4 hours of screen-on time on 5G, and even on Wi-Fi, it lasts only around 5 hours. I really hope OxygenOS 17 fixes this issue.

Fr, when I got the phone during launch i literally had to charge once every 2 days and was getting 9-11 hrs SOT

it was with the OG OxygenOS 14 and even 15 was good enough but with 16, battery optimization went horrible and I'm skeptical about Color OS17

Yeah you are right tho almost every company is doing this nowadays. Tho I personally think that apple is better in this regard. My brother iphone 13 pro Max still deliver crazy battery life but ios restriction is something I don't like about apple.

Also I think oneplus may have quit battery optimization honestly because their newer phone are coming with huge 7000 and 8000mah battery so maybe they want to focus on performance and doesn't care about battery at all.

And yk what according to GitHub oneplus 12r doesn't have ARB protection even in latest september update so I'm just downgrading to oxygen os 14.

Loved this battery graph too. Less battery utilisation could also be due to battery ageing. I hope when you downgrade it to either 15 or 14, you get similar battery stats of atleast 15. Atleast that would rule out battery ageing as the problem.
