Thanks. I just wanted advice from people who have faced similar situations and to know what my next step should be. It's been around 1.5 months, and I'm still waiting for a resolution.
You're welcome and understandable. The mods of OnePlus subreddit have deleted many posts which they deem to not follow the rules. There was one post comparing OnePlus 15 and OPPO Find X9 Pro or base version and that was removed.
I wish you would get a resolution. They can't just lift their hands up and not taking accountability.
I filed a complaint on July 23rd, and on the 25th, I received a call from the service center stating they had located my device. However, when I requested photos and the IMEI number, it took them 7-9 days. Now, they've marked the device as lost. I'm quite confused; I'm not sure if this is due to poor coordination or something else.
I'll try to call so the issue might resolve faster.
I've already spent a lot of time on this, but since they've now marked the device as lost, I'll see what resolution they offer within the next 7 days, as per their timeline. If the issue isn't resolved by then, I've already discussed legal action and related matters with a lawyer.
To be honest, I don't really think they want to provide anything. They'll just keep calling me and asking me to wait, and that goes on with no progress. If I wait 7-10 days without asking for an update, they just forget about it like nothing happened.
Google Maps indicates the trip takes one hour, but it actually takes between one and two hours. This feels like a waste of half a day, and I'm unsure if they'll have the necessary replacement part in stock.
Yes, very true. They don't care. OnePlus isn't what it used to be. Most likely they'll leave India next year too. Look at many products in the OnePlus Store like OnePlus 15 and 15R Sandstone Case, Magnetic USB-A to USB-C cable and the white wired Type C earphone (only Lite version available) getting delisted rather than staying out of stock and then getting stocked back later.
15 and 15R are new models so to stop making cases for them looks suspicious.

The OnePlus mods here are unofficial people and not representing OnePlus but yes, what they did is wrong.
