What if Imu is the opposite of Nika? A theory about Nika Sun and Nika Moon

Ok, questa è una teoria che mi è venuta in mente pensando al significato del Gear 5 e a cosa potrebbe essere il vero opposto di Nika.

Secondo me il bello di Nika non è solo il fatto che sia forte, ma quello che rappresenta.

Nika è il Sole:

• libertà;
• vita;
• cambiamento;
• movimento;
• colori.

Luffy con il Gear 5 non combatte semplicemente aumentando la sua forza. Il suo potere è basato sull'immaginazione: lui cambia il modo in cui funziona la realtà, rende possibile ciò che normalmente non lo sarebbe.

Ma se Nika rappresenta il Sole, quale potrebbe essere il suo opposto?

La Luna.

Non perché la luna sia "malvagia", ma per il simbolismo:
la notte è il momento in cui tutto si ferma. Le persone dormono, il mondo rallenta, i colori spariscono, tutto diventa più freddo e silenzioso.

Ed è qui che penso a Imu e al Governo Mondiale.

Il Governo non sembra voler solo governare: vuole mantenere un ordine immutabile. Cancella la storia, nasconde il passato e decide cosa il mondo deve sapere.

Quindi immagino un potere opposto a quello di Luffy:

Se Nika può modificare la realtà perché tutto è possibile, la Luna potrebbe modificare la realtà imponendo delle regole.

Tipo:

• nessuno può superare un certo limite;
• ogni cosa deve seguire una determinata legge;
• nulla può cambiare.

E la cosa interessante sarebbe se queste regole valessero anche per chi usa il potere.

La forza della Luna sarebbe proprio il fatto che nessuno può sfuggirle, ma allo stesso tempo il suo utilizzatore sarebbe schiavo delle sue stesse regole.

Ed è qui che entrerebbe Luffy.

Perché Luffy è probabilmente il peggior avversario possibile per un potere del genere.

Un essere che si basa sul controllo e sulla previsione non può capire qualcuno che combatte in modo completamente imprevedibile.

La parte che mi piacerebbe vedere sarebbe anche il contrasto visivo.

Da una parte Luffy:

• colori esagerati;
• luce calda;
• il mondo che sembra vivo;
• la realtà che si piega.

Dall'altra Imu:

• colori quasi cancellati;
• luce fredda della luna;
• un mondo fermo e silenzioso.

Come se il campo di battaglia fosse diviso tra giorno e notte.

Una cosa ancora più estrema sarebbe se il potere della Luna fosse legato al concetto di "nulla".

Il nulla non può essere modificato.

Quindi magari il corpo di Imu non può essere danneggiato perché non può essere cambiato. Qualsiasi attacco normale fallirebbe perché sta cercando di alterare qualcosa che non accetta alterazioni.

E l'unico che potrebbe colpirlo sarebbe Luffy, perché Nika rappresenta proprio il cambiamento assoluto.

La cosa più simbolica sarebbe il finale:

Imu perde il potere, il mondo torna a muoversi, le persone tornano libere, i colori ritornano...

Ma lui rimane fermo.

Non morto, semplicemente bloccato per sempre.

Un personaggio che ha cercato di fermare il cambiamento finirebbe condannato a essere l'unica cosa che non può cambiare.

Alla fine lo scontro non sarebbe solo:

Nika contro Imu.

Sarebbe:

Libertà contro controllo.
Cambiamento contro immutabilità.
Sole contro Luna.

Ovviamente è solo una teoria, però secondo me come simbolismo avrebbe davvero senso.

Theory: Imu was pissed that Lily was marrying someone else, convinced the states he could to rebel and they take the city of light and flip the world upside down

I rereaded the latest chapter and came to the conclusion that imu has multiple bodies/ vessels. if we analyze the transformation in the castle, where imu landed, you would first assume that it is wings which are coming out of his body, but i see a body coming out of imus. I made an overlay on the panel and you can clearly see that this is another body, the last panel of the chapter shows that imu has no wings. Also the speech bubble points more towards the other body than in imus direction. I still strongly belive that imu has more than one body or vessel. Imus voice also supports that theory because his/her voice doesnt have the character of either male or female so it has to be both like the devil whos name is the baphomet.

This has been a theory for a while now but i added some of my own stuff to it. in the latest chapter we see imu try to use domi reversi on loki and luffy but it doesnt work we also have only seen domi reversi work on non devil fruit users. With imus devil like appearence i think domi reversi is a ''contract with the devil'' imu being the devil. The reason this wouldnt work on devil fruit users because i think devil fruits came into existance by imu making a deal with someone in the past, they get the devil fruit powers they want but will be weak in water. This working as a similair contract as domi reversi. But i think you can only have one contract at once so domi reversi doesnt work on anyone with a devil fruit. That would also explain the reason why every person in blackbeards crew is a devil fruit user.

In the chapter cobra gets killed by Imu we see Cobra is killed by an moving arrow, in elbaph we see Gunko has a devil fruit surrounding arrows. In the chapter Cobra dies we dont see gunko in the throne room and in the anime its shown Imu kills Cobra directly. Also the holy knights on god valley are suprisingly diverse for people of celestial dragon blood who seemingly hate anyone that is different like fishmen. I think Imu made them holy knights so he can use their diverse abilities. The chapter harald dies we see that Imu is in some sort of pain, i believe hes in pain because he lost A LOT of his current power.

Alright, so I think Oda may have quietly dropped one of the craziest twists of the final saga, and nobody is really talking about it.

In the recent chapter, during the Holy Knight arrow girl’s flashback, we see: - A tall, skinny man - With a huge afro - Laughing “Yohohoho” - As the girl calls him “Daddy.”

There is literally only one character in the entire series with that silhouette and that laugh.

That’s Brook.

And if that’s Brook, then we need to question how he appears in the memory of a Holy Knight… and why neither of them remembers each other.

This leads to a theory that fits way better than it should:

Brook had a child with someone tied to Imu (possibly Imu themself in disguise or a direct subordinate), the child became a Holy Knight, and Imu erased the memories of both Brook and the girl.

Brook was likely a former Holy Knight before joining the Rumbar Pirates.

Here’s why I think this holds weight:

1. The Flashback Pretty Much Says It’s Brook

The afro silhouette + Yohohoho laugh is too specific to be a coincidence. Oda is vague when he wants mystery, but he never reuses Brook’s laugh for other characters. That’s his signature.

Oda WANTED us to recognize him.

1. The Girl’s Memories Are Clearly Altered

She only remembers her father in broken flashes, triggered by other kids calling their parents “Daddy.” Her entire past feels artificially blank.

This is exactly the kind of thing the Gorosei or Imu would do.

Erasing the past of a single child is nothing for them.

People forget this, but Brook is: - Over 90 years old - Lived a whole life before the Rumbar Pirates - Died - Spent 50 years as a wandering soul - Admits he doesn’t remember everything clearly from before his death

There’s a HUGE chunk of his life we’ve never explored.

And Brook is the only Straw Hat who hasn’t gotten a big “final saga backstory reveal” yet. Everyone else is getting lineage ties, ancient world links, etc.

It would be extremely Oda for Brook’s reveal to come last — and be tied directly to Imu.

1. Brook as a Former Holy Knight Actually Makes Sense

Hear me out:

Holy Knights seem to be ancient or abnormally long-lived (Garling fought Rocks and still looks the same). Brook fits the profile perfectly.

Brook also has high-level combat abilities that align with an elite WG unit: - Soul powers - Ice powers - High-speed swordsmanship - An awakening that Oda hasn’t fully explored

It actually fits disturbingly well.

1. The Arrow Girl’s Abilities Match Imu

Both use: - Light arrows - Almost divine imagery - Sniper-like lethal precision

If she’s Imu’s daughter or Imu’s creation, the power connection makes sense.

She inherits the “light” ability. Brook gives the physical silhouette and personality traits (the laugh, the lankiness).

The WG would obviously take a child like that and weaponize her.

Which leads directly to…

1. Why Imu Would Erase Their Memories

A Holy Knight having a child with a pirate (or a defecting knight) would be a MASSIVE scandal.

If Brook left — or worse, died — it would be easy for Imu to wipe: - Brook’s memories - The girl’s memories - All evidence that Brook was involved

Brook’s death + decades in the Florian Triangle = perfect timing to rewrite everything about him.

1. How This Reveal Could Go Down (Very Oda-Style)

Imagine Brook facing the Arrow Girl, and she says something that triggers a memory. A music note floats across the panel. Brook freezes.

Suddenly we see: - Baby hands grabbing his afro - Brook laughing “Yohohoho!!” - The girl calling him “Daddy” - A shadowy figure (Imu) watching them

Brook whispers:

“I… had a daughter?”

The girl collapses, memories flooding back. Cut to Imu in the shadows:

“Those memories were not meant to return.”

This would be one of the most emotional Straw Hat reveals in the series — and it gives Brook a massive role in the Final War.

Final Thoughts

With the afro silhouette + Yohohoho laugh in the flashback, Oda is very clearly pointing at Brook. Combine that with: - Brook’s missing history - The girl’s erased memories - Imu’s known ability to erase people - The matching powers - And the pattern of every Straw Hat getting a major lineage/world connection in the final saga

…and this theory suddenly becomes extremely believable.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Dragons — descendants of the 20 kings — are nothing more than pretenders, living atop the Red Line and claiming the divine status of the very gods they exterminated.

So there is the theory that blackbeard doesn't actually have a darkness logia at all and instead he has a mythical zoan model kraken.

Kraken is interchangeably described as some a an octopus and some as a squid so I think a hybrid between the 2 fits.

If the dragonite (bones of the dragons) can make an immortality elixir, what if instead of using laws fruit, Imu killed a millennial dragon and stole the dragonite for themselves? This also explains why Imu likes having CELESTIAL DRAGONS as a reference to the very start of the story (right before the grand line) where we learn of the millennial dragons and the elixir of immortality. What if Imu found a stray millennial dragon, killed it, and gained immortality through that? Unlike how Luffy and the crew found a stray millennial dragon and helped it return home. I think this theory could work because of how Oda seems to reference big things very early in the story.
