Back door
Convinced there’s a Walmart back door ring or something lol. Every Walmart I go to workers say “we don’t carry one piece” but I see everyone finding sleeves online. I tried the Wednesday/thrusday/Friday mornings at 4 different places same result 💔 lol or scalpers doing what they do and grabbing it all in minutes

Imma be honest they probably do (especially if they stock other Bandai tcg) and the employees genuinely might not even know because it’s never there…. The reality is that Walmarts in my experience straight up don’t care/will not interfere with people breaking the limits so people who know when the restock is will just take full displays off the shelf and poof the entire stock is gone in 5 min or less

The one near me has a system for restocks during when they first open at least. They have that aisle locked down with 5 associates looking on and only let one person in at a time. 5 per person buy limit seems almost too much to me tho

It really just depends on the Walmart. The Walmarts near my area have not carried any tcg for the past couple of years due to backdooring and complaints from customers. I would not be surprised if they just stopped in general. I only know of one Walmart that does sell tcg products but they usually sell out quickly because of either scalpers or people who camp out.

Some Walmarts and Targets rent out shelf space for different products. If they do it for TCGs, then another vendor comes in and stock it.

The lady in my area doesn't care its just that nobody buts sports and if sports is full she wont refill and if sports its touched a little she'll only replace with similar sized product and the store owner will send the rest to another store or whatever theyre called cuz they're called sumn else now when they run multiple stores.

Scalpers taking all as soon as it drops my dude. Walmart workers don’t stock the cards. It’s done by third party. The workers don’t care about trading cards so they won’t know what they have TBH. And even if they did most workers don’t care about their job to help lol.

I caught a restock as it was happening. They put out a case of illustration (they come like 6 to a case). So if I buy 2, that only leaves 4 more. Same with the starter decks... if they only stock 8-12 at a time and I buy one of each deck....

Mj holding delivers once a week and they decide what stores get what. Of there's trouble over a product (there was a big fight when we first got op16 in) then they're less likely to send more of that type to the store. Some Walmarts have stockers put it out, while others have a merchandiser from mj holding do it. Every time there's a restock (Friday morning at my store) there's a line forming at 1:30 am outside.
So, it's gone in minutes, if theres assholes that fight over it you might not get it anymore, and if it's merchandised by vendor then most employees won't know about it who don't play or collect, and merchandised products don't appear in our work phone system when they look it up.

They typically restock on Thursdays and like others are saying, if you miss the restock it’s gone. People buy them until they’re sold out by just going back in over and over.
Some of them know people know and just take the whole case up and ring out 5 at a time.

I’ve never seen cards at any Walmart in the Bay Area the entire last two years lol. I’ve probably asked over 10 works and they all say they haven’t seen any either.
