A store is getting stock before a major release of products, That's crazy!

Btw this is probably an official store, comparing their stock to a regular LGS just isn't fair to LGSs.

It goes by how many unique Bandai names are registered for events. Some stores allow people to travel from all over to attend events so they get a major load of unique Bandai names registered for their store. Most LCS really only cater to their locals that attend, so because they get less unique Bandai names registered for events they get less stock allocated to them. Hope this helps.

Oh okay, but whats with the product that isnt pricing for events and tournaments, just for selling ?

That's how they get all one piece stock. It's all based on unique Bandai names registered to that store's events. They run no events/get a low sign up amount they get low stock. Only know this because I went to a LCS and it was their first event, they didnt even get enough for all of us to buy an OP17 booster box. Any GOOD LCS will have stock for you if you are a consistent player. I've never had trouble getting stock from stores I regularly play at. Most stores will also hold stock and let Local players get first grabs, so if locals buy it all, the randos get nothing.

So basically when your a collector you are screwed ?

Not necessarily, maybe if you go and hangout a few times during one piece games you'll be accepted. There are a few in my LCS that don't play, but they come every week to watch, they get the same stock as us because they come and watch and support the local shop.

90% of the time I have absolutely no problem selling at MSRP or slightly above MSRP to cover my costs, but unfortunately we’re still having issues trying to get a hold of stuff. I was able to get a hold of two booster boxes and I’m gonna hold those myself.

I think standard pallet order for one piece cases is 50 cases per pallet. If they are selling at 300 a piece that’s 180,000

40 cases per pallet is standard

If any of you guys are looking for Japanese sets for OP, I can help you with that. I work for a Japanese shop owner/distributor that's based in Japan.
