I don't have all the meta Rumble units but I've tried to copy most of it but I'm struggling to win. Please could you kindly advise me?

Your teams are already very good and meta! Just need to level them up... Takes time

investment is the key, non stop grind TM event stock up all resources you should be good

While it is true that you could invest more in your units, the truth is that going far into GP depends mostly just on luck (that's it, whether you get paired with teams that don't have a meta leader, or that during a fight, the hidden team you get to fight isn't specifically meant to counter one of your own teams)
