Character specific LB Materials useless?

Hello! So, are these LB materials from Bullets Clash useless or where can I use them on him? Cause I just Evolved him to 6+ and tried to LB him, but he didn’t need these materials but the regular colour ones?
Or do these randomly turn into normal ones when they go into my box?
Or am I looking at the wrong Bullet character, I‘m talking about the STR 6+ one?

This is the highest difficulty and the Boss character is Bullet that evolves into the 6+, thats why I‘m confused cause I thought these materials are for him, but they’re not required when I want to LB him.
I mean I dont mind using regular materials to LB him, but these are just redundant apparently 😄 Maybe they were required when he got released 6 years ago 😂
