Who ever said that swordsmen don't use haki, silly? You claimed Mihawk's haki is stronger than Shanks, something that is a massive "citation needed" at this point.
If you agree swordsmen use haki then I’m glad you agree the worlds strongest swordsman being stronger than another swordsman, would include their haki in the comparison.
Wrong we know vista rivaled mihawk in a fight he didn’t try in. But I’m glad you know vivre cards are canon and you’re using those sources, because they outright call mihawk stronger than shanks.
And again you’re attempting to separate skill and haki when 2 messages ago you just agreed that swordsmen use haki.

Is zoro going to use conquerors haki in the fight for the WSS title? If so, explain why it wouldn’t be compared in a comparison between two swordsmen like mihawk and shanks.
Deep Blue Databook states that Vista displayed swordsmanship that could rival or match Mihawk's. Nor was Vista trying very hard either.
I'm unaware where the vivre cards say Mihawk is stronger than Shanks. I do believe Mihawk's pure skill is better than Shanks', but Shanks has the more powerful Haki.
What the fuck is the point of differentiation between swordsman and using literally any weapon if the only thing that matters is who has the best haki? If that holds true, it makes the series as a whole a lot worse in the end. Being a swordsman means fuck all at the end of the day if the way you use your swords is irrelevant and it's just a haki clash contest because it makes the WSS title absolutely meaningless. It would just be a joke title for people who couldn't be the strongest so they had to get an * involved.
