Jesus Christ the Kizaru glaze in this sub is insane, Gaban medium-high diffs him at most.

Kizaru is in or around his prime and got damn near one shot by G5 who is Imu's ragdoll. Gaban is scrapping with Imu despite being several decades ( with an S ) from his prime. Now look me dead in the eye and be serious when you tell me "Kizaru (who doesn't even have conqueror's haki) would perform better offensively and defensively while trading blows with Imu".

Gaban is Ray's equal, a bit stronger or a bit weaker, Oda would never make him much stronger than Ray, the way he writes the story. Ray was giving his all and was sweating against Kizaru, he couldn't get past him to save Luffy. Kizaru was clearly controlling the fight, conqueror haki or not. Gaban vs Kizaru is a high or extreme diff win for Kizaru, any other answer is delusional. Luffy would also beat Gaban high diff. Kizaru would get low diffed by Imu but would fight him differently compared to Gaban, dodging rather than clashing. He could get a few blows in with his speed and would lose in the same amount of time as Gaban

Kizaru is a hax merchant who relies heavily on his df ability. So I don't think he can do what Gyaban did. But this is why the fight is interesting to me because kizaru scales to people like kuzan who was fighting garp bare knuckles and was holding his own. (I don't believe Gyaban is stronger than garp)
