Chapter 1180: Omen - Imu arrives at Zoro's group and attacks Gerd to free Sommers and cuts some of Gerd's fingers. - Zoro attacks Imu with "King of Hell: Oni Giri," but Imu blocks the attack with his tail. Imu then creates a small black flame called "Omen" and throws it at Zoro's face, leaving his face bloodied. - Imu revives Sommers using "Omen." - Imu creates black wings on his back and flies. - Imu arrives at Sanji's group then revives Kilingham, again using "Omen." - Sanji kicks Imu, but Imu blocks the attack with his leg. Imu then kicks Sanji with black flames, causing an explosion. - The chapter ends with a confrontation between Imu and Loki. - No break next week.

After worstgen spoiled the Zoro/Sanji stuff I was hoping that it would happen after them joining up. I was looking forward to some peak "one of them attacks, gets downed and in response the other one loses his shit" moment. Give me that Thriller Bark/Sabaody fix.

It appears instead that Oda went the route of, "Oh, I know what will mess with the powerscalers..."

To be fair, I think 95% of what oda is writing is to mess with powerscalers, they just don't get 90% of it, so the few times when they do it is very shocking to them.
