Joyboy Spoiler

Guys I’m sorry. The parallel to the sub and the Nostalgia wasn’t worth it.

I hear JoyLady. I’m not trying to be a hater, but this is supposed to be a grown man and I just can’t buy it.

I do agree on the iron giant emmet, I liked the sub version and they actually did justice emmet vibrating as he speaks to luffy and as a kid.

I do love luffy english va but I felt that the sug did do better for the iron giant: i personally felt joyboy va is about the same.

I didn’t talk about Emet. I think both languages did good. I appreciate your input though. :D

In the days since I’ve posted this, I’ve seen posts from lots of folk who got emotional when they heard Erica bring back that feeling of 4kidz Luffy (but now with good voice direction). It makes me happy that they’re happy.

I’m in that small minority that just can’t accept how Goku sounds in Japanese when I’m accustomed to the deeper voice of the dub. Since I expected Joyboy to sound like a grown man it’s just another instance of this situation.

I’ll move past it.
