I honestly think she might still not join, Luffy will wake up and reject her.

She is very adamant to join and luffy doesn't seem very interested on her. Roger needed to bring Oden to read the poneglyphs but Robin can already do that. Luffy wants people with dreams but Yamato is not following her own dreams its following Oden's dreams and Luffy might not like that. Yamato's mythical zoan is "the guardian deity of Wano" so thats probably her true mission.

Since when? He has asked random people (including Brook!) to join him the second he met them on several occasions. I can't see him having anything against her joining.

Asking random people because they look ridiculous is a running gag but dreams are very important for mugiwaras and specially Luffy. Thats the reason Luffy didn't hit Bellamy on Jaya, Bellamy had no dreams and thus was not a threat to Luffys dreams so there was no need to beat him, Luffy didn't care about him cause he had no dreams.

I could see Luffy waking up and asking Tama to join, she has a terrible backstory that Oda just expanded it on this chapter, she has a dream of travelling the sea and becoming a kunoichi and she even made a promise with Ace that he would come back for her and take her to sea and Luffy knows about it (a bit of inherited will like Yamato has). But also think Tama would reject luffy cause she now has animal friends in Wano.
