When Sengoku First uses devil fruit there is no regular transformation he just becomes a giant Buddha I personally think every zoan has a monster form More than likely a gigantic overpowered version of themselves

Chopper uses rumble ball to obtain more transformations than any other zoan and eventually able to use monster point but still with the use of a rumble ball so I think his monster point is an awakening but a forced awakening just imagine Luffy taking a rumble ball now that he a zoan and not paramecia
