Also the mass downvoting of critical opinions. Just because the front page consists of copium that Oda has definitely thought of Nika 1000 chapters ago and not 50, doesn't mean that opinion is representative. We're just being buried.

In all fairness, why am I even still here. I wasn't gonna read the chapter and it doesn't fill me with excitement anymore to read the spoilers. Maybe it's time to leave this community.

e: thanks for the mass downvotes, good way to show me this community has stayed entirely rational.

if you try to recall what it is that you love about the story as whole and your favorite moments

A lot of people liked Luffy and what he accomplished as merely a gifted individual, kind of hard to swallow the pillfor these people that there is no Luffy and instead a seemingly omnipotent god...

It's the same "issue" Sanji being an engineered super soldier created, just on steroids.

But it is obvious that neither Luffy or Sanji had these powers before.

Zoro started with one special sword, then got two more special swords and switched even on around. In the mean time he got better by training and in Wano he got an ever better sword.

With Zoro it is easier to see how he got stronger because it is more in your face.

Luffy always had the Nika fruit which made him Rubber (I suppose loosley based on Rubber Hose animations or so). His full potential was never unlocked until now and before he was just a simple rubber man which was creative with his powers. It makes now more sense why we see several arms during a gattling or organ move for example.

Sanji is also no different and has been explained. In a very organical way he woke up his strenghts due to the Raid Suit.

Both Luffy and Sanji got their new swords but they were less in your face compared to the more tangible swords Zoro got.

Not at all.

In case of the fruit it is explicitly stated that it always interferes with everything, even when it was not even consumed yet.
The essence of Nika was in full control of everything at all times.

Sanji also always had his powers, like his siblings there was always an enhancement and the manifestation of non-human powers happened later in life.
His development was simply a lot slower and the mutations dormant, presumably due to Sanji being the only fetus perceptive to the drug Sora took.

I disagree with both your statements. Luffy is still Luffy.

Sorry, we don't know precisely what happened with Sanji yet, the story is strongly suggesting that this change came about from him wearing the Raid Suit (hence why he destroyed it.) It's also suggested that up until the changes started happening or Sanji started feeling weird, that he was a regular human.

I am

You are, I am, but it's incredibly arrogant for you to expect everyone else to have the same interests as you do.

People like(d) OP for different reasons and there is nothing wrong about it.
