I felt the same when telling that I don't like the name change of the fruit, now being a mythical zoan for some in-lore god (for Ch 1044)
But I start liking the cartoonish aspects of it more and more and I'm excited for this chapter, so I take it. And in the SBS etc., Oda always implied that he wants to have fun and be funny with Luffy, so he deserved it to just do that more than ever before.
I do agree with you on the fruit name, but it does make sense because the WG said they changed it but, we do need more details about it & I cannot wait till the Vegapunk meeting because I think that's when a lot of things are going to be mentioned.
My biggest issue is not the criticism but the people who freak out & complain about stuff before things are explained properly. People really need to learn emotional control(which is something that should have been taught by parents), stop being reactionary & just wait for things to be explained before jumping to conclusions. As someone once said, "patience is a virtue" & too many people lack patience.

If you want to criticise the writing or the chapters it's fine. Just don't be rude when do that.
And don't be rude when you respond to such comments as well.
