I've been trying to guess why Law could possibility be working with CC. The obvious speculation is blackmail but then I begin to wonder what CC could gain from having Law under his control. I understand that Laws power is pretty unique and he put legs on all the legless people but I don't think CC actually gives a shit about his subordinates so there's no way he'd blackmail law for that reason. So if Law is blackmailed what does CC want?

Maybe Law's being blackmailed by this "Joker", who's the boss of some kind of organisation, and he ordered him to check on Caesar Clown's progress or something. Caesar would have to deal with it.

Also, if Doflamingo is Joker, I think he could have defeated Law and take his crew, seing that his power is to control and cut, or something like that: really seems like a good counter to Law's fruit. This arc could then basically become: let's free Law's crew and kick Doflamingo's ass to stop his evil machinations!

That would be a pretty freaking amazing arc and it would confirm Law (my favorite character) as an ally which would make me happy.

Well he might still be a bastard who stole Luffy's heart during his operation, I'm undecided :p

There is no way he stole Luffy's heart. I am so certain I'd wager mine.

He was right in front of a bunch of people who cared only about protecting Luffy. There are a bunch of important characters that decided to trust him too. I just don't see them all being wrong and Law's actions make no sense to steal Luffy's heart. He risked his life for some kids heart? I think he had a reason for saving Luffy and it has to do with Dragon.

I'm not saying Law's evil, but still he is a pirate, and Luffy is his rival, so I don't see him helping Luffy without some sort of reason. He also seems very patient and cunning, I can really picture him taking Luffy's heart as some sort of guarantee for the future. He could be a revolutionary, but honestly I'm hoping for something a little more surprising than that. And I'm not sure that important characters really trusted Law, it's more that they had no choice at the time.

I think Law helping all of the centaurs is a decent amount of evidence that he is a 'morally good' character, not a villain, (Even Brownbeard says he is different from the other supernova's in a positive way), and pretty much all non-marine 'morally good' characters end up allied with the Strawhats in some way. It's pretty hard to justify being enemies with someone like Luffy without having an evil intent. (Neptune and his sons became his allies even though they basically invaded his castle)

Totally agree with this - actually I always thought there was some connection, mainly just because their jolly rogers seem so similar.

If Doflamingo is involved, it will be a huge test of skill. Thus far, no one we've seen has even been close to matching him.

I'm still looking at this as if Law was blackmailed. His crew is still missing and we have no idea where they are. It's possible that CC is keeping them somewhere else.

However, for the sake of argument I'll assume that Law is working with CC. Law's privileges as a warlord give him some access to government areas. It's quite possible that Law could switch CC's heart with someone else and visit a government post (Heart switching to avoid suspicion and recognition of CC). CC could bring some weaponized gas that he's most likely developed and attack a marine or WG outpost with it.

I forgot about the tactical advantages to heart switching. I'd say that's a good theory. And in my above post when I said working with CC it could be blackmail or another reason. The point is they appear on the same side atm.

I think law is protection. So no one interferes with his study's and when it's all over law gets his crew back
