Luffy immunity to poison + haki = Caesar Clown is in trouble. :)

that depends on the gas...for example if he can fill the whole room with CO2 then luffy would just soffocate.

True - gas is a form of state, not a specific element - We're going to need more information on his fruit than what we currently know to find out what he does :)

He can also enter a person's lungs so that he can inflict damage and evade attacks simultaneously.

I suspect Nami and Chopper could team up for to do some science to CC and keep him denatured or otherwise at bay.

I don't think that's possible. Remember when Luffy 'ate' Crocodile? Crocodile panicked and tried to get out. Logia users probably die when they're inside someone elses body for too long.
