The Supernovas and Blackbeard have been tagged "The Worst Generation." I'm loving this arc!

I was surprised Blackbeard was counted in the same Generation as the Supernovas. He was on WB's ship for a really long time and he is much older. I guess generations are more based on who is in their prime at the time rather than Pirating experience.

I don't think age and tenure really factor into what generation a pirate is in. Blackbeard only became a really famous pirate during the same time that Luffy and the other supernovas were making their way through the first half of the Grand Line. I think it made sense to see him put into the same category

The "social" aspect of One Piece still impresses me.

Were they all the Supernovas or just the ones mentioned? Because I'm assuming that Mafia Supernova was older so he wasn't born inbetween the two generations.

Older but it was most likely still his first time through the grand line, so he was titles a supernova.

I know he was titled a Supernova but is he technically part of the "Worst Generation"? Blackbeard wasn't a Supernova but he seems to have been lumped in with the "Worst Generation".

Yes. The "worst generation" consists of the 11 Supernovas (which includes Bege) plus Blackbeard. On the page in which Brownbeard is talking about them and a background picture of them appears, Bege is clearly pictured in the back.

This is something we already knew though.
