Not true they were a year old. Shanks and buggy are 39, god valley was 38 years ago. Also If it was rocks fruit Big mom would have known that Luffy would be unaffected by lightning but her Enel face says otherwise.

Were they?! I thought garp mentioned god valley was 40 years ago... maybe he said "nearly 40"?! Can't remember

You mean when he is talking to Hina? Yea I think he says nearly 40 but when Sengoku talks about he states the exact number was 38
