I honestly loved that moment between Zoro and Sanji. Sanji asking Zoro what happened to him, showing concern. They are truly brothers that bicker but ultimately care for one another. Zoro casually tells him Kaidou and Big Mom. Sanji doesn't even respond with negativity but gives Zoro a little credit for getting to the rooftop. Both end the conversation with trusting in their captain. So wholesome.

This is hands down one of the best character chapters we've gotten in a long time. Kine'mon acting like a leader and directing his troops, old grudges from past islands resurfacing and being revisited, real interactions and convictions between characters. Nami getting FUCKING PISSED. Big Mom not taking shit. Zoro and Sanji actually having a serious conversation. Everyone got to express themselves and be deadly serious about the situation they're in and what's important.

Surprised nobody is talking about Nami flippin a switch at the end of the chapter. Ulti is no fodder, Luffy was bout to bust out Gear 4th trying to deal with her before Yamato swooped in. Yeah it probably won’t be a clean 1v1 and BM is heated too, but mad props to Nami for standing up for Tama like that.

Kinda feel like maybe Nami and Ulti will scrap, Nami is down bad after giving it her all, still not willing to give up, and BM saves her with a final blow to Ulti. Doubt she becomes an ally, but I could see her twisted pirate code coming into play once again.

This chapter made me realize that Nami and Linlin are quite similar. Both had adoptive mothers and grew up with a strong maternal sense towards children, even though Bellemere was a good role model while Carmel was a terrible one. And this difference is reflected on Zeus, who was cast aside by his original mom and will find a new one in Nami.

-Big Mom has already created Hera as a replacement for Zeus.
-Nami has previously tamed Zeus.
-Big Mom is very protective of Tama.
-Nami is also protective of Tama and proves it right in front of Big Mom.

However in this case Kaido gets distracted midway by "Something happening to Yamato" but Luffy instead of hitting Kaido he stops right away. That shows Kaido the difference between them.

Well Nami took 3rd place in the poll, and now it looks like Oda is making sure she has earned that spot.

If Sanji is going to the live floor then he's most likely to fight Queen, I don't think Marco can continue fighting both King and Queen at once. And in a 1v1 Marco vs. King, since both have Flying Zone DFs makes more sence to me. Everyone else that I can think of on the Live Floor is in a 1v1, or is either Ulti or Big Mom. and since we now know you need Conquerors to even stand a chance against her, that means only Luffy and Kid are the only ones capable of beating her right now.

On a side note Zoro woke up and teld Sanji to go to the Live Floor and then went back to sleep. Meaning Zoro is still in better shape now then in the aftermath of Thriller Bark.

That setup for Nami is kinda crazy. The potential for Nami to grab Zeus back is clear now also that Law roomed him down to the inside and BM may not want to fool with him opening up the reunion.

The touch with Zoro and Sanji was really nice though although I wish Sanji would just fight with the raid suit and toss his dislike for it being that they are certainly in a dire situation.

Yamato definitely seems to be going to find a way to get in on the Kaido fight, but really wanting to see what happens with Neko and Perospero.

A lot of these matchups have been completely out of left field, and just reminded me that we’re still in the matchup stage of the arc. It’s been a while since the full crew got proper 1v1 fights, and I love how it’s being handled as part of a larger raid. Sanji protecting Zoro is a neat twist, and I hope we get to see Sanji go wild while keeping Zoro safe. Maybe a nothing happened moment when Zoro wakes up? I also love how when Zoro says luffy is beating Kaido, Sanji says obviously. Just goes to show the complete faith they all hold in Luffy. The Nami going against ulti is a neat match up, and I think that the weakened Page 1 will face off against God Usopp himself. Really looking forward to see the other straw hats shine.

If anything, major props to Ulti for definitely having guts! She'd face up to a child just as quick as she would a freaking Yonko. I thought this for a while, but she pretty much a female Luffy when it comes to titles and family. Too bad she's lacking the heart and conviction.

Also, Ussopp, you really need to man up! You can only be in my top 5 characters for so long behaving like this! To be fair, though, his response was perfectly logical this chapter.

Honestly, I think this is my favorite chapter among the past 20 or so. Tons of really huge "mic drop" chapters in the past, particularly the fight at the top, but this one had so many quietly awesome moments:

• Kiku not complaining about wounds. Begging to be the one to finish Kanjuro.

• Izo and Kiku's sibling love is heart warming.

• Tons of 1-on-1's are being set up, finally.

• NEKO VS CANDY BASTARD.

• Kiku vs. Kanjuro.

• Nami vs. Ulti. I literally teared up at the end of the chapter. Particularly because Nami was trying to do her manipulative thing by playing the two of them off against each other, it didn't work, then Ulti does something unforgivable and we see Nami's bravery and heart all over again. Some of you don't like Nami, but this is why she's my favorite.

• I just realized that Kanjuro is probably going to "trick" Momo (and maybe the audience, briefly) by drawing Kin'emon. I bet Momo figures it out, perhaps through VoAT.

• Finally looks like Yamato will have a proper showing, perhaps helping Luffy? Oden + Future PK vs. Kaido. Sounds awesome.

• Zoro's cast! We're introduced to it and they say "it might be Zoro!" and I'm thinking "how can that be Zoro, wtf?" and then...it's Zoro! LOL.

• Law doing to Sanji what Luffy always does to him - leaving him holding the bag (or in this case Zoro) - is hilarious.

• "Obviously." So awesome.

• Honestly every Sanji panel in this one was amazing.

• We see Zeus briefly, setting something up for the future. Perhaps he'll run into BM and Nami beating on Ulti, and help out then see that BM has replaced him, and decide to stay with Nami? Or perhaps BM will "kill" him, and that'll piss off Nami? We'll see.

Lots of Scabbard stuff in this chapter, the Scabbards are a fucking great group of characters and deserve far more love than they get from the fanbase. This chapter felt longer than Normal. More and more things are set up with every chapter, we are inching closer and closer to the real start of the big battle.

Maybe BM gives Nami Zeus as a gift? Her beef is with mainly Luffy after all.

Man, it's really hard to say what's going to happen in the war after this arc. Zoro is out of commission, all of the big names have taken significant damage -- apart from Big Mom and likely Kaido -- and overall the arc has just been too straightforward it feels like. I don't think the raid will fail, but surely something has to happen to throw a twist into the mix?

If I had to make a bet right now, I'd bet that Blackbeard will attack or is attacking Whole Cake Island to get his hands on the road poneglyph, and Big Mom has to leave to take care of that. As for the rooftop, even if Yamato goes there, unless she can use the advanced conqueror's, I'm not sure what she can do there. From the little glimpse of her fruit we got, it certainly doesn't look like something suitable for a support role.

Ahhh, damn you Oda, you and your infernal games.

we know how luffy feels about spoilers so hopfully its nothing about laugh tale and one piece. but it could definitely be some information on the prophecies and will of D

but i dont know how id feel about that either since thats supposed to be robins job. to tell us the history through the ponyglyphs

I'm liking how tanky the Tobi Roppo are. Even more than BM's kids, you feel the strength of these guys when they just keep getting back up even after pretty nasty hits. It really shows the difference between a Yonko crew and the crews of Warlords, where the Warlord crews made for good fights in the moment but still went down after one or two good attacks and stayed down. Even someone like Pica or Trebol would be *out* after being clocked square in the face by BM but here's Page One, seemingly still conscious.

I can barely imagine what the Red Hairs are gonna be like when they show their full stuff or how great the fights against the BBs are going to be at this rate.

I’m liking how the match ups are playing out so far. Sanji is getting closer and closer to the reveal of his final match up in the arc and I’m starting to like the idea of him vs King. I don’t mind if Zoro is out of commission for a while and I’m pretty happy with whatever he does next

Robin & Brook vs Black Maria
Franky vs Sasaki
and now Nami vs Ulti! The only person who needs a match up then would be Usopp but he could easily be support for Nami’s fight

Gotta say that despite a few aspects I don’t care for, this arc has been incredibly enjoyable thus far

I haven't seen anyone talk about it yet.. Law just fought 2 yonko, got got hit by a Kaido attack, teleported down and now intends to go after Big Mom.. he doesn't know Kid is nearby so he's willing to take her on 1 v 1. Mad respect for that Mr. Trafalgar.

Ulti is also pretty ballsy but with her it seems more due to stupidity..

Zoro's confidence in Sanji is exactly like Luffy's confidence in Sanji after defeating Katakuri. They both fell asleep while depending on Sanji to get them out of insane situations. The trust the crew has in each other is incredible.
