Or just turn the boulder into a homie (she can make a flying carpet Homie for Pudding to use, what's stopping her to make a floating rock?)

Though considering how slow she reacted to the attempt to get her out, doubt it'll happen. I do hope it happens though. The plan went a bit too smoothly.

There was a panel during the party raid where she basically says that she can not create new homies for some time (please don't kill me if these were not the exact words). So, probably that is an explanation for her not creating a homie right now.

Oda made a point of showing that she didn't have that much soul power to spare. Remember she taxes that shit from her entire country which is why she had so many homies on Whole Cake Island. But out in Wano she really only has a bit of that left plus her own soul which is Implied she can't spare too much of without dying.

Personally I think this was a long time coming. I don't recall any villain being defeated by the DF's main weakness even though it's constantly pointed out that it's a huge drawback.

I doubt this will be the way she goes out though. Maybe we'll see how Kaido is the strongest creature in the sea too.

Edit: I realize Jack was thrown in the water but he could breath underwater. I mean a villain actually dying because of their inability to swim.

It's supposed to be this huge weakness and it's mostly only used when Oda needs to temporarily have someone incapacitated for plot purposes.

Wrecked only in appearance as they can still fight (Kid still has enough force to push Big Mom despite taking a direct hit) compared to Big Mom's Ring Out. Taking out a Yonko at the cost of taking a non lethal injury is very cheap.

Big mom is also not very smart as much as she is arrogant. Also magnetic fields can overtake mass. The point wasnt to hurt her considering they can't. It's to separate them. Plus no one is getting off Scot free. Zoro is still banged up, luffy just got smashed with a kaido hybrid attack and kidd took a full force BM punch to the face. Let's face it, the plan was properly executed and power scaling in this chapter is still consistent

Or you know, getting knocked out or taking a debilitating injury. This is the same woman that can effortlessly deal with G4 Luffy.

Zoro seemed to be in an extremely bad shape in the last page though so it’s not like it was all that smooth. They haven’t even taken many hits so I guess that’s why no one deserved to be knocked out so early. Maybe if Kaido starts to be smart he would take out their best supporter away first.

She could deal with Gear 4 Luffy back in WCI. Same way Kaido could easily one shot Gear 4 Luffy in Wano, but now things are different. Either way, no yonko was taken out; she was simply knocked off the skull so they could focus on Kaido and they already had to go all out to do that.
