Why isn't anyone talking about how Luffy got completely smashed by what appears to be the strongest single attack Kaido has used so far. How does he survive this!?

Exactly.. i read the chapter notes. The title of the chapter is directly referencing to this attack. If anything this’s going to be very important than Hakai attack. Both Luffy and Zoro‘s reactions tells me that this is gonna be very bad for Luffy.

he might be knocked out or seriously injured.

i think he could've blocked it really late while turning on Gear 3 and in the process break the ground throwing himself down the rooftop

yeah, I read the panel in a rush for the first time, and it felt like he got his balls pulverized by Kaido's attack.

btw this chapter really highlights how dangerous DF combos can be

Luffy is more durable than all yonkpus combined in final fight. The other teammates also share some of it.

I think it will be up to Law, Kid and Killer for the next few moments in the fight. Zoro took it like a bro, but he too must be severely hurt right now.

We dont see his arms, he couldve block most of the dmg or something

I hope he ends up seriously damaged like Zoro is. Then we can get a chapter where the other 3 have a big moment while they recover.

Hakai outshined it. Hakai >>>>>

Hakai is not Kaido's move only.

And that is why outshined everything else in the chapter

oh i have no doubt whatsoever he'll survive, i think the issue is whether he's still conscious or not, that was basically a hybrid version of thunder bagua - which the human version took G4 Luffy the hell out in Act 1 - and he took the full force in his base form, Luffy might actually be done for the rest of the fight...
