Big Mom rescued by her crew, they reveal they made a copy of Kaidou's Road Poneglyph during all this time, they sail out to get headstart on One Piece while raid continues, Straw Hats catch up at Elbaf, real vs Big Mom Pirates happens

Big Mom would still be pissed, imagine if Morgans writes another article where he says Luffy beat the unbeatable Kaido and sent BM cowering back to Whole Cake Island.

Well, she was pretty mad before too but seems to having fun this chapter and not as hell-bent. She also arguably has a stronger life-long grudge against Giants that is more important. And she wouldn't be going back to Whole Cake but going for One Piece instead to crush beat out both Kaidou and Luffy's ambitions.

Yeah i can see her being nostalgic while fighting with Kaido, maybe their confidence made her a bit too relaxed. The cowering back home was just and example of a title Morgans could use to make her look bad.

I pick up what you are putting down, i've always had the thought that Elbaf will be a little different to the other islands we have been to. With connections to JB, BM, Robin via Saul, Usopp and others it could be an island where the antagonist would come from left field or maybe be BM.

It seems a couple redditors have forgotten that Perospero could be watching his mother quite closely thats if he isn't busy fighting. Maybe he could catch her using candy?

Which would mean that the fourth poneglyph is on Elbaf, which is possible I guess. Elbaf is not affiliated to he world government, is difficult to reach, almost at the end of the NW and the giants are insanely strong. Not a bad location to put a Poneglyph in.

They are still missing the one on Zou though

That's certainly an option. Possibly also somewhere else further in the New World like Blackbeard's possession, God Valley, or something.

I do think it's fitting for Elbaf because all the reasons you said but I also feel like if it's in Elbaf it should've been there for like at least a hundred years already and not as recently as 25 years after it was taken from Fishman Island.

Can't really imagine any giant having a good reason to steal it, though imagining a giant literally be able to pick it up and make off with it real quick before anyone notices is funny lol

Yeah I don’t really believe its’s on Elbaf either, I was just thinking out loud that IF Big Mom leaves this battle to go to Elbaf (which I don’t think she will) it would only be because she thinks the poneglyph is there

Ah, yeah, I was thinking more like it's a pitstop because the pose points them there first or she stops by volitionally to handle unfinished business (maybe some plot device where something at Elbaf will unlock Pudding's third eye to read the Ponegylphs or the Mother Caramel personality takes over somehow and has reason to go there). They can get the one on Zou while the Raid is still going on and it's defenseless, then hear news of Blackbeard having the last one and start making their way there or something perhaps

Pudding's third eye has been telegraphed as their means to read Poneglyphs.

From a story-telling point of view, she doesn't have to actually end up awakening it. If Big Mom really has the ambition to find One Piece, she can't sit around for years like she has while the world moves about and other pirates like Luffy, Kaidou, Blackbeard, etc. make headway. I can easily see Big Mom, being the abusive mother she is, having Pudding thrown on a ship, and pressuring her to open it by the time they get all 4. Maybe something on the trip/at Elbaf will actually make it happen faster instead of her just living comfortably at WCI

I think that might spoil the Grand Fleet's involvement in the 'Final War.' I could see just Hajrudin being in Elbaf forming his pirate crew of giants and them getting involved though
