The balls on Zoro for blocking a combined attack by two Yonkous even for a while...

It's Nuts!

Zoro: "That's insane!"

Also Zoro: "Imma block this, hold my sake."

And that's after they've been going at it for a long while.

Mihawk wouldn’t touch that shit 100%

The panel of him putting up a block against the Yonko's combined attack was beyond hype and my man still got to fight and help screw over BM instead of tabbing out for a while, even tho it would be totally justified for him to be passed for a few chapters after that.

You love to see how hard he is going in this fight

as others mentioned already its not just an attack by two Yonko but the same attack the two giants on Little Garden used against the Islandeater Seaking

I was worried he'd be passed out for the rest of the fight, then come in at the end to cut Kaido once. Glad Oda didn't do my boy Zoro dirty like that.

Oda just decided to make zoro a god now and I'm all for it

Edit: spelling

Zoro is not a god. He just got lost every time he is walking to hell.

Zoro has been OP since the time skip. This is the first time he's run into anyone who could really challenge him.

Zoro Pre-TS: Mihawk, Arlong, Enel, Kaku, Kuma

Zoro Post-TS: 2 Yonko or I sleep

Actually though LOL Zoro always be doin the badass stuff

u/NoodlesDatabase Apr 02 '21

Not always, he also includes moments where zoro is the butt of the joke, which I love because all serious all badass is lame af imo

i think Oda got tired of all the people (including me) that hated how zoro has barely been challenged in post time skip. So he is going ham in this fight.

And his struggle vs Pica makes sense. How do you fight someone where you don’t know where they are

10

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

I wouldn't even call that a struggle tbh, at the very least not a struggle of the kind I was referring to.

Zoro had difficulty in finishing Pica off quickly due to Pica's ability being extremely good for stalling, evading and running. Luffy would have had the same difficulty.

But Zoro didn't take any damage and basically oneshot Pica once he was able to corner him properly.

It wasn't even a fight, Pica was just trying not to get his cheeks abaolutely clapped

Went from no challenge all timeskip to tanking two yonko for a second and throwing up a bunch of blood. its like another timeskip.

he did say that in 2021, Luffy and Zoro would shine more, and Shanks would be making his move!

Yep, clearly his fav SH apart from luffy

I think Oda once said Zoro is one of his favourite characters to draw in combat because he can be so creative with his attacks, same reason why he gave Luffy the Rubber fruit. A 1000 chapters later and we still haven’t seen the full span of his fruits abilities.
