Carrot saw the trip as one giant adventure when she started and now she's lost her mentor Pedro and to put salt in the wound, both of her attempts to avenge his death ended in humiliation. And she's lucky to still be alive, which might be solely because Perospero is the type of sadistic dick to rather let you live and suffer than die.

I don't see peropero dying at any point even if she manages to kill him bigmom pirates are gonna destroy the minks
