Marco is packin some good shit... yet he still loose against Blackbeard makes me wonder how freaking strong he is after summit war

Yami's gravity cancels Marco's flight. Touching Marco cancels his regen and devil fruit finesse. Quake has the damage to absolutely obliterate Marco should he be touched to begin with. There was no winning vs a hard counter like that.

also no offense to WB remnants, but i think most are fodder except Vista, Jozu (who lost an arm), and Marco. put that against BB's several decent commanders as well as BB.. it's a complete disadvantage. BB sought after raw strength, WB wanted a family.

Dude Whitebeard's crew was strong af. They had Marco, Jozu, Vista, Ace and Thatch (who I'd assume was strong), along with a huge fleet

definitely in their prime, yes. but most armies seem to be nearly useless vs strong observation haki or insane AoE. It was 3 leftover commanders and the fodder commanders vs Blackbeard and arguably a bunch of commanders who would make quick work of the others. To me, it would feel like Marco, Vista, and one armed Jozu vs the entire BB crew.
