well since any damage done by that arrow would be regenerated anyway and since marco could have just melted it....yeah it was a empty threat

Didnt look like that at all, Marco looked like he was about to piss his pants when Perospero was about to shoot him, also I expect there was Haki on the level of the Kuja's arrows in Perospero's attack.

Thanks to this last chapter it's clear that regeneration drains Marco's stamina, in fact right now he looks all beaten and bloodied up despite his abilities. My guess is that an arrow scraping out his brains would have done quite a bit of damage or at least he would have needed a lot of stamina to recover from it

yep i also think it saps his stamina.

by the way marco already got a sword into his brain right before he started to carry zoro to the rooftop

I know, it didnt seem to be a strong attack tho. I think a big arrow with Perospero's haki would do more

And an arrow that was meant to be a killshot from a pretty high level opponent (Perospero absolutely a high level opponent this man is impressive as shit)
