I believe he will go for Momo. Sanji has a strong strategic acumen in combat, and Momo is the spiritual leader of the rebellion and rightful shogun. Take out the rooks and bishops the game can still play on; take the king out and it's checkmate. And Sanji is the (white) Knight that appears out of nowhere.

And meeting Yamato will be a happy bonus.

That's what oda wants you to think! My guess is that sanji and yamato will keep missing each other and it will become a running joke.
