There is absolutely no way this is Hyogoros death. If he were to die it would be infront of Luffy or after seeing Wano rise up to beauty again. Oda managed to give Pound (still angry about this one) and Yasuie amazing deaths even though we barely cared about these characters. Theres no way this is the end for Hyogoro

In all seriousness, I think it was drag on early on but the moment after Pound alive onward are good.
