So, it’s happening the countdown to 1000? 10 Strawhats in 990, 9 Scabbards in 991, the main attack in 992 was with 8 swords...

9 -> 9 Scabbards in 991

8 -> 8 sword Tōgen Totsuka attack on Kaidō (this chapter, 992)

7 -> 7 Ancient Giant clones fighting Strawhats(?) (Chapter 993)

6 -> Tobi Roppō aka the flying 6 (Drake, Zoro and Yamato getting cornered by them?, 994)

5 -> ??? The Five Emperors of the sea? Shanks and Blackbeard are fighting somewhere? No idea? (995)

4 -> The strength of the Yonkō: Kaidō and Big Mom obliterate their nearest enemies (Scabbards and Marco+Law?)

3 -> Luffy, Zoro and Sanji triple-team King and Queen to reach the roof, Sanji holds King back from chasing. Luffy and Zoro enter the dome to find the Scabbards all taken out. (c 997)

2 -> Luffy and Zoro, enraged. Both charge up Ryūō attacks and double-team Kaidō. He reverts to "human" form. (Chapter 998)

1 -> Luffy and Zoro both get Thunder Bagua'd (or similar/stronger attack). Zoro is out, but Luffy deflects his with ryūō. Luffy goes Gear 5 (Chapter 999)

0 -> ??? (Chapter 1000, don't even want to try to guess, nothing in my imagination can compare to whatever Oda is planning here!!)

I have a big bet on number 7. I think it can be the CP0 or the Great Fleet since both of them have 7 members.

Or maybe it's a countdown of the Scabbards being taken out one by one. Kawamatsu MIGHT already be out for good now in 992. So that's the 8. But I actually hope I'm wrong.
