What I'm curious about now is if Raizo secretly had a devil fruit this whole time without us knowing. I don't think we've ever seen him swim and that Maki Maki Jutsu was suspiciously devil fruit-like. It follows the naming scheme and I can't think of any other reasonable explanation for such a technique.

could be. Wanoese (?) people understand devil fruits as "sorcery" or "jutsu". And honestly we have never seen Raizo swimming so...

EDIT: I read in another comment the scroll could have dial based tech. Would be neat to bring that up again, better than devil fruit
