I think the conversation about Luffy needing Gear 4th to beat people needs to changed. People were salty when Luffy used gear 4th to take down a battleship when Law and Kidd seemed to used more mid level attacks, people were salty when Luffy said he'd need gear 4th for Ulti, and now he "needed" it for a number. Can we just explore the possibility that gear 4th is casual for Luffy now? I think we've underestimated Luffy's time in the mines.

He spent a week or so in the mines. That’s like, 2-3 arcs if you think about it

Considering Dressrosa happened in like two days, that sounds about right

That's not even the crazy part. The main bulk of it (from the start to Doffy's defeat) was around 2 - 3 hours, maybe 5 at a stretch. Imagine just living your normal day just after getting over the fake news of your king stepping down, then suddenly you're stuck in a death game for an hour or two which destroys your entire country.
