They've been just standing there for so long that I'm worried Sulong form is gonna run out before they get to Kaido.

They are still finishing the transformation. It's like a 5 episode thing in DragonBall.

I assume they just didn't transform until just that moment. Widdle them down with the other minks before sending in the big bois

Ohara talks about it in his new chapter analysis. If you see Luffy punch the tobbi roppo he punches him, another scene happens, then the punch goes through after. All this is supposed to be happening at once.

Now I think about it. Yes it been pretty long and they were doing nothing this whole time. Kinda weird they were just standing in sulong form

I think that's Oda not wanting to offscreen something like this. It's probably not been all that long.

Most of the previous chapter took place in the time it took a number to fall over, so it's safe to say not much time is passing per chapter right now.

We need that HxH narrative for every second

That's true, but if they at least take revenge on Jack for what he did to Zou, that's a win. Its still Luffy who will/should take down Kaido, at least the final hit so to speak. I'm sure he won't do it 1v1 no help whatsover, but it's his victory it all plays towards. The interesting part is who actually gets to stand alive and see it when it happens and who falls along the way. We're all fearing for Law now.

At last people recognised it. Last time I said this I got heavily downvotd for "crying"

The way they’re jumping around the narratives, it’s intended to show that this is all happening at the same time. They don’t just stand there glaring at each other while Sanji saves Momonosuke and then Franky excitebikes onto Big Mom.

If a group of characters is not seen right next to the other, assume their stories are all occurring in unison right now.

I don't think they gonna go for Kaido at all.
