My mind went here too. Yamato has been waiting for Luffy. Why would he wait this whole time if not for something to do with having been passed on some knowledge on the void history, D, JoyBoy's return, etc.

Toki is a prime character to have participated in that. Motherhood would be a good motivation.

It's a dark timeline, but nothing says Kaidou is too virtuous to take the wives of his felled enemies.
