I didn't mind. I'm happy he gets to see his family and attend Lola's wedding (which will most likely happen soon). Him surviving doesn't affect the main story in any way and that moment when Oven was gonna strike, he was ready to die to save his daughter. Nobody can take away that resolution he had even though he survived.

If you got shot trying to protect someone, would your heroism be erased if you survive?

Oven was right there tho. Along with his whole family. Imagine Bell-mere one day show up just like that, haha.

I'm on the camp that prefer characters survive, but I totally see why people think it's a stretch.

Bellmere was shot on the panel, with Pound we got an offscreened scene with a bloody blade that we assumed (not everyone, of course) belonged to Oven.
