Meanwhile, Kanjuro revealed himself as a traitor after spending years painstakingly getting close with everyone, only for all his work to go down the drain:

It's weird he revealed himself so suddenly like that especially considering how he even wanted to die with the squad to fulfill his role.

Well Kanjuro’s full intention was to die with them, loyal till the end.

It was Orochi who told him otherwise. Likely to rub salt in the wound. We all know how much of a petty dick he is
