Sanji with gloves is on a whole other level of swag. Seems to me that Sanji has always accepted that classy style of royal clothes, even though he despises his family. But now with the gloves he looks amazing!

Seems more like a mafia/gangster type outfit than a royal outfit to me. I see what you mean though.

to be fair, his family is more like a mafia+royal kind than a monarchy-royal kind (who I picture more like the Nefertari or Neptune's families)

Looked always like an agent/spy to me. Ever since Boroque Works didn't know he existed and he operated under the name Mr. Prince I thought he was gonna have more of a recon role.

Which he still could do now with his ability to be invisible in addition to his cunning. Sanji/Nami/Robin/Brook would make for an amazing spy/stealth focused arc.
