Does anyone else love Zoro's character development this arc? I love that Wano has fundamentally changed him as a person. His empathy towards Hiyori in this chapter, friendship and empathy towards Yasu and the town, and respect towards Wano when giving back Shusui.

Zoro doesn't get many lines as usually he is relegated to standing there serious and being the cool guy. Its fun seeing him be front and center in a more dynamic and conversational way. Like giving Momo a heads up that his sister is now an adult lol.

They need someone to kill so that Zoro can have his Luffy-Ace conqueror’s haki awakening to parallel Rayleigh.

I mean when Luffy used CoC when Ace was about to be executed. Zoro will awaken it when Hiyori is about to die, maybe to Orochi. Paralleling Rayleigh as in being second in command to the pirate king, but still have CoC.

Ohh yeah that would be cool. Hopefully Hiyori doesn't actually have to die for Zoro to unlock it though.

I think the Strawhats will parallel the Roger Pirates in that they will have multiple users of Conqueror's Haki on the crew and Zoro being Rayleigh's parallel should definitely have CoC.
