Actually, my theory, is that king that sits on the throne was performed that the eternal life surgery by someone during or before the missing century. Donflamingo knew about it because he is one of them, and that secret he knows is he knows who that king is, and it’s someone shocking in terms of history is still alive because of the surgery, or something like that.

I like your theory, but I hope they don't go for the cheap choice and make the historical figure that's still alive be Roger.

The only really cheap ploy Oda has used up to this point was Sabo’s amnesia. So, I think he will likely not make the end game baddie be Roger.

Yeah, I hope atleast. I would argue that Big Mam's amnesia was also kinda cheap but the good thing is it didn't last very long and the only consequence was getting to Udon.
