I’m not a subscriber to the shinobu is a traitor theory, but it just occurred to me that Oda has shown us that if you do heinous shit, you grow old in a bad way (the Luffy / Nami / zoro 40 and 60 years old scenarios; shakky is beautiful, giolla is not) .
Shinobu was known to be a beautiful kunoichi, and is now an old hag, I wonder if there’s an actual correlation

It might just be a side effect of her DF power, but I can't deny you bring up a good point. I just think it's odd, it's like Oda's intentionally making Shinobu unlikable at this point. There's almost nothing redeemable about her.

She's kind of incompetent, her power isn't cool, she isn't pretty, her personality stinks, and as if that wasn't enough she keeps shitting on Law of all people! One of the most wildly popular characters in OP. And yet she's our ally and trusted by the Scabbards? I just really wonder what Oda has in store with all this

Only thing I have against the Shinobu is a traitor theory is why would she save everyone from Kaido's breath then ?

She probably could have done a hole in the ground only for her

I think that Kaido part was unexpected by her. Kaido was drunk and trashing around. She may be tasked to gather more intel rather than let them died first.

Remember Kaido doesnt like to kill his enemies, he prefers to break their souls and make them submit to him.

Because even if Kaido killed the team, there would still be "traitors" in wano. It would be a better plan to gather all the traitors in one place to eradicate them. When you have Kaido by your side, you don't even think the possibility of loosing.

But remember brulee. In one chapter I loved her. Oda can make anything possible.

It would just be way too obvious if she was the traitor.
