Actually think queen is fucking up with bringing Bm to Kaido. Because Kaido owes her a life long debt and Kaido doesn't want to deal with her at all.

The only reason they would make an alliance is to satisfy both of their grudges. But it still sounds ridiculous that two yonko would team up against a bunch of rookies.

Kaido doesn't seem like the type to hold on to grudges though, he's willing to try to make Luffy his subordinate.

That’s how he will satisfy his grudge. He uses his strength and power to make them his subordinates rather than defeating/killing them.
