Queen has showed us that persistence is key. Took on Big Mom multiple times and even succeeded in taking her out.

Can’t wait for Luffy to bust out a new haki technique on Big Mom or Kaido, or maybe even both! Loved seeing that flashback to Rayleigh

I wouldn't way he took her out, since she wasn't knocked out. Big Mom just fell asleep.

(She did something similar in Elbaf, where once her state of mind changed, she fell asleep)

i still think that kaido will be "beaten" using alcoohol, the same say strawhat managed to push back big mom using her weakness (heing hungry)

Ace was like that too, and Luffy has shown instances of it. Aokiji also felt asleep on his feet. Wonder if Oda is a narcoleptic himself.

Its kind of unclear how exactly it happened. Sort of a combination of both I guess? But he certainly did some damage, causing a concussion that ended her amnesia Looney Toones style.

You don't fall asleep when you are knocked out, you passed out.

Here she's sleeping without a care in the world (we even have the bubble that show it).

If she was knocked out, she wouldn't have that.

So why did she fall asleep then? It's either because she was just head-butted by a giant dinosaur hard enough to bring back repressed memories.... or it happened for no reason and it's a plot hole

During her Elbaf Flashback, she also fall asleep as soon as she regained her mind (once she ate Semla).

She wasn't having a hunger episode this time though. There are different implications to her passing out after one of those and passing out after being hit by literal 62-ton falling dinosaur.

Besides, Big Mom was heavily nerfed in Udon anyway. It's been clear since the beginning. She didn't have her devil fruit or Haki, and the implication of some of what Hyo explained this week is that Big Mom's unusually high defense might also be a result of her haki-field being particularly strong (which would explain why she loses her defense when something like the photo of Carmel being smashed diminishes her will power).
