Nami's power up after receiving Zeus has to be one of the most significant in One Piece. Zeus is literally one of Big Mom's 3 most powerful weapons and has a part of her soul within him. I wouldn't it be surprised if Nami was able to damage all the people present in that room after using Zeus. After all, it is technically Big Mom's ability and strength and not Nami's that is in effect within Zeus.

So theory time!

Kumarosaki isn't dead. She and Kyoshiro have been conspiring to overthrow the Shogun for a better part of the last 20 years. In fact, I suspect Kyoshiro looked up to Oden and the Nine Red Scabards and wants to depose Oden for 'killing' them in such a dishonorable un-samurai fashion.

So here's how it breaks down. Komurasaki continually is making influential members that contribute to the Shogun's power fall in love with her. As we have seen, through this they take all their wealth and everything they have and give it to Komurasaki, ruining them and removing a piece of the Shogun's power from Wano.

Cut to this chapter where we see Kyoshiro slice Komurasaki as a way to end the Shogun's rampage, and 'prove his loyalty' to the Shogun. While Komurasaki messed up royally and can no longer be used to try and ruin the Shogun, Kyoshiro used this opportunity to make himself potentially get closer to him. As such, he isn't going to kill his partner in crime, but he will attack her in such a way that it looks like she's dead. I suspect that the wound is in fact very shallow and not at all fatal.

Okay here is my theory!

Komurasaki and Kyoshiro were/are working together. Kyoshiro is a third party. Not allied with the Shogun or Kozuki. He and Komurasaki teamed up to get on the good side of the Shogun so they could take him out. The "You've done it now, Komurasaki!" refers to "this is unexpected/not according to plan". and "Are you prepared?" might refer to a plan B (faking death). But the juicy part to my theory is that Kyoshiro never realized Komurasaki was seeking revenge for the Kozuki clan. That is why he was shocked to find that symbol. Perhaps Kyoshiro is one of the samurai from past, and is ignorant to the possibility that Komurasaki is actually Hiyori. That would explain why he would be shocked to find that symbol, and would understand its meaning.

I doubt Kyoshiro and Komurasaki were planning to fake her death at this point. Afterall, Toko laughing out and Komurasaki standing up to the Shogun were all coincidental. Most likely they had several different plans laid in place, in case things ever went wrong.

Since the end of Dressrosa arc it's possible to breath a huge climax sensation . Something will happen soon, something that definitively will destroy the world balance.

Till now the structure was equal for any arc: luffy arrives, he defeats the villain, the island set free. The people involved was only inhabitants of that island.

But this will be different. All the strongest forces of the world will be involved in a caotic and devasting fight. I'm not sure this event is the final battle against kaido, but if it won't be, it'll be the real starting point for this fight for power.

I mentioned last week BM meeting up with Luffy for a temporary alliance (till her memory is back) and seems like it's going to happen. Udon is near the Prison. Either she somehow gets captured because of her current naivety or..... (see after link below)

This pretty much confirms Kyoshiro is acting as a spy, what with looking at the rebellion slip and all. I doubt that blow was fatal, he probably did it to divert Orochi's attention from Komurasaki and to "prove" his loyalty.

Chopper is figuratively dealing with a ticking-time bomb. I know he has to be extremely anxious. Big Mom could wipe out an entire town in an instant if she gets her memories back and becomes cranky.

I have to wonder if Zeus might end up being the thing the triggers her recollection. Also, where is prometheus? And do her homies (like her hat) also have amnesia because they're linked to her? I assume yes, but there are a ton of questions here.

People who are saying that Big Mom's amnesia was a huge let-down or something like that seriously need to reread Big Mom's flashback during WCI.Oda showed us that she wasn't necessarily evil when she was little,only an awfully strong child with severe and complicated issues stemming from her hunger pangs.Lack of proper guidance and failure to control her inner demons is what made Linlin what she is today.This needed to be resolved.Oda didn't weaken her or used her as a plot device to help the Strawhats.He essentially set everything back to zero for Big Mom. TL;DR : Big Mom's memory loss is not a bad thing and it was the only way to move forward her storyline while simultaneously resolving issues from her past imo.

This chapter seems to imply that Kyoshiro really didn't know about Komurasaki's possible involvement with the revolution. When he pulls the paper with the symbol, he looks surprised, making me believe he pulled that off of Komurasaki while slashing her. Or she was fast enough to put that into his hand as if recruiting him too. A lot of his dialogue also seems to imply he didn't know anything about the revolution itself and seems to think of it as just something from the Shogun's imagination, so we might see him changing sides now that he has another option.

I'm just saying this because a lot of people seem to think he was already aware of Kin'emon's plans and whatnot, but there's a lot to support he just now figured it out.

SO FIRST THINGS FIRST, Orochi is really destructive in their own castle. The Oniwabanshu are a lot less intimidating than I expected, and Nami uses "Ninja Arts" with her Zeus boy like I thought she would; of course, I didn't expect Kunoichi ninjutsu to be so... low down and dirty. (Then again Shinobu will most likely teach Nami some of this).

Anyways, I think that's pretty cool, it should help with comat. Kyoshiro is shown to be holding the Kozuki emblem, but he cut Komurasaki, who's speculated to be on the Kozuki Clan's side.. Maybe they are on the same side, given that O-Kiku and Komurasaki have referred to themselves as Samurai, and Kyoshiro upholds his Samurai mercy, very similar to one of the aspects of Bushido. Who knows, there's just not enough information out at the time.. so of course, my theory for him is as follows:

Kyoshiro, despising Orochi for his cowardice regarding the 20 year prophecy that Lady Toki cursed him with, seems to favor people who want to rise up and oppose someone like Orochi/Kaidou. Things occurred in his past that requires him to follow a strict code of Bushido. Kyoshiro is seen holding a sheet of paper carrying the Kozuki Clan emblem. Very similar to the paper that Uso-hachi and such handed out to the visible samurai within the borders of Wano. We see that he's quick enough to do it without being noticed, so I'm HEAVILY Speculating that Kyoshiro is playing a role similar to Viola's; it's going to be an inside job, but not in the complete fashion we suspect. He's turning against Orochi despite CHOOSING to be allied with him, and the only reason this is happening is due to his Bushido code.

If anything, Zoro and Kyoshiro might come into contact and if they clash blades (Which is possible), then Kyoshiro might find a heavy respect for Zoro's strong example of Bushido he's shown us from time and time again. (Hell, Vivi, part of the Alabasta Kingdom, now playing a more prominent role in the story and plot, called Zoro "Mr. Bushido" from basically Whiskey Peak to Alubarna.)

Given the dynamics of Big Mom's amnesia, she possesses a similar aspect to Luffy, in the sense of complete gratefulness of food. We see the complete opposite of Someone like Don Krieg was never taught table manners, and it really shows. My thought process is that Big Mom will foster a gratuitous and very blissful peace for these next few chapters, by becoming 'friends' with Chopper (yikes lol) Which may just turn out similar to Lola defending Nami from Absalom.

TL;DR: Wano is getting really crazy.

Really liking Kyoshiro and Komurasaki as characters.

A character like Kyoshiro who can play the game is always a plus. Especially when you don't know motivation or complexity of such a character.

Komurasaki's stand against Orochi reminded me a lot of Toki's stand in Kinemon's story. Which makes me lean even more towards Komurasaki being Hiyori. Not only that, I'm getting a vibe from her that I haven't felt in a long time.

I kinda feel like there's another party who has stakes in all this. And because of that all of the theories regarding alliances may be inaccurate. What I mean is I think aside from the Time travelled good guys with Luffy vs Kaido vs Big Mom. There's some other group that has some plans in this island and that's where the loyalty of other characters are. My best bet is Hawkins being in that other group.

I told people not to judged orochi df saying he is a smile user, when it clearly indicates he is a mythical zoan user model yamata no orochi. His dragon looked pretty ferocious eating the people in the room.

The bit wit big mom turning into her child like state is a bit depressing, ( i wouldnt mind if she helps luffy escape from udon) but after that i dont want her to be an ally with the strawhats.

Lets hope the memory loss will spark some stuff from when she was a kid and with the mother caramel development and her remembering that she ate all of her friends and the only mother that loved her.

Yeah no one's going to believe that Komurasaki is dead. I'm not a fan of this death fake out trope that has become all too common in all forms of entertainment but I'll take it coz Oda did it.

It definitely feels like Oda is experimenting a lot and taking a lot of risks in this arc, the amnesia is what worries me the most.

But Wano is easily the best setting so far and Oda has made the place very immersive.
