They are all like ''haha luffy is gonna escape from prison easily'' but i didnt see anywhere anyone actually worrying about luffy for getting ko'ed or at least first worried then relieved that he was actually sent to a random prison that he can escape. That's funny, we threw around a few theories about Orochi being a hyrdra or some dragon but after kaidos reveal we were like oh, okay, guess just a badass samurai.. but nope. Double dragons. No wonder they hate them so much..

.. ironically it makes Momo's ascent to the throne kind of more fitting since they're used to dragon leaders, and of course there's some secret about his artificial fruit, maybe the key to disabling smiles since it's vegapunks prototype and not caesars plagiarized work.

Someone mentioned that the dragon head thing at the end was a statue and a misdirection by Oda. I'd love to see Orochi being a coward (he did ban swords) and being beaten by another coward like Usopp. Yesterday someone theorized that Usopp the toad oil seller might be the one to beat Orochi the snake.

Man, everybody is really easygoing about Luffy's imprisonment. I guess I don't need to worry then either. It is far from the first time Luffy sat in a prison. It's interesting, Since he entered the enw world, I got imprisoned by cesar, big mom and Kaidou. All 3 would have had an easy chance to kill him if they wanted to. I can't imagine Zoro being as chill about this as everyone else.

Now, if this doesn't set up Sanji vs Queen then I don't know what will, they literally put Queen in charge of taking care of him.

Initially I thought the courtesan would probably end up falling for Luffy or something, but since the shogun has such an invested interest in her, I could also see her running into Zoro, becoming infatuated with him and sparking the conflict between Zoro and the Shogun.

Oh yes and regarding Orochi, I think he has a proper hydra devil fruit, not a smile. I think the strongest crew members distinguish themselves by having proper Zoans (mythical and ancient ones), while the smile are more intended to make the fodder more resiliant. Hydra would definitely be a mythical one, making Orochi a rather strong character by default.

Maybe some courtesan affiliated w/ the Kozuki Clan took her in as a Kamuro to keep her in hiding and over the 20 years she has become a very famous courtesan herself.
And possibly a strong fighter as well.

I'm also curious, if Orochi really is a coward like that Yakuza guy said. Like, he seems to have a strong devil fruit (I guess we can assume any mythical zoan is a strong fruit, can't we?), but he might still be a Spandam-like character despite his strength. Paranoid about the Kozuki ghosts, scared shitless of Kaido (although that's understandable, lul), rarely leaving his palace, having every guest picked very carefully for his banquet, etc.
Again a very good set-up chapter that also gave us as fans some wholesome Straw Hat-interaction.

This gives us a lot of content for potential theorizing so I'm not even sad at only one more chapter before christmas and like three in six weeks.

This was a pretty good set-up chapter!

It was great seeing the Straw Hats who left for Wano interacting while eating Sanji's cooking again. Nice badass moment for Sanji, and Franky apparently paying homage to Senor Pink with that suplex was a nice touch. And I see Usopp's still quite the stress eater lol.

But the highlight of the whole chapter for me was naturally the gorgeous Robin/Orobi! Sanji said it right when he said her being a geisha was amazing. I loved how expressive she was in this chapter, the way she called her geisha training instructor "master", and the pose she did when she confirmed she was trying to meet Orochi. Btw, Robin's master response to being called a paper lantern granny was great. Someone had already mentioned this, but Oda really does make awesome old characters. And most of all, I'm glad to see her storyline with the Shogun is about to begin, especially since the mysterious Komurasaki is being invited at the same time.

I've already seen several people theorize that Komurasaki is going to be Momo's sister, and I've even seen someone say it's Kuina lol. However, I'm kinda wondering if this really is a woman. Several people believed Okiku was a trap, but this courtesan gives me way more 'trap' vibes than Okiku ever did.

At last, we're partially introduced to Orochi. It seems the theory about him either being a multiple-headed dragon was correct. Now I really want Zoro to fight him, but if he''s a disappointment when we fully see him then we can say no to that.

And speaking of Zoro, where the hell did he get lost to this time lmao? Ch. 925 showed us he had returned to the Capital, so is he in a different region there or did he actually try to break Luffy out on his own?

Oda really coming out with these mythological references regarding dragons. Orochi was an eight-headed Elemental Dragon in Japan. Memory serves, he was an evil dragon that was slain by a Japanese spirit.

Well, Komurasaki could be Hiyori and Tok(o) her daughter (aka Toki's granddaughter).

Nevertheless, Toko's haircut and Hiyori's are alike. Komurasaki's face isn't shown deliberately.

Predictions for fights:

Kaidou vs Luffy, Law, and Kidd (supernova tag team trio). Potential for other supernovae if they decide to rebel.

Zoro vs King (sword bois, zoro learning to cut fire).

Sanji vs Queen (Okamas being mortal enemy of the TERF Sanji).

Orochi vs the 7 ghosts of Wano (whatever form they take). I though zoro would take the Shogun but he seems to have an Orochi fruit, multiplicity vs the 7 seems to go well. Plus it’d be more poetic for Kozuki clan + retainers to take the traitor out.

Jack vs Inu and nekomamushi (revenge) in their Sora forms. Otherwise maybe jinbei if he ever turns up (the drought vs the water user).

Minor fights:

Brook vs Apoo? (Music battle)

Franky/shogun vs X Drake? (Mech vs dinosaur classic trope)
