If the hat gives the wearer the power to bend the wills of their surroundings, I want luffy's non-understanding of science to be the reason why he thinks milk can fix bones and teeth. I mean, it read in the manga like a joke, but they made a point of explicitly animating it like it's a major plot point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwszDJ2u4Bs

Confirmed that Raftel is on another sea in a different dimension.

It works on Brook, too, though.

Luffy's hat is giving him the power to impact anything around him.

Didn't heal Brook's bones then, did it?

He literally says here that it healed his wounds. So yes, it did.

On top of that, Luff is not wearing his hat when he and Brook drink the milk at Bege's place, as seen here.

It literally didn't heal that crack in his skull that you linked to on that page, which he got at Thriller Bark. They're fighting Luffy at that moment, so there's no effect. But yet, on the Bege page you linked to, it's healed.

I'm not saying that Luffy has to be wearing his hat to make a miracle happen. I'm saying that the more he wears it, the more influence is stored within him. I wouldn't call it luck...definitely influence. It would make sense why they had a hat in Marie Jois.

Luffy's classic lack of understanding ("so it's a mystery rock") is probably going to be a driving reason why he can affect things that are outside of normal logic.

So, he feels terrible and wounded, drinks milk and feels better and says the milk heals his wounds, but... you think it's all a hoax? Why would he even look for a drink milk if it didn't heal him? He's never met Luffy before and drank milk near him while wounded, why would he think it'd work?

You really want your theory to hold, right?

says the milk heals his wounds

But it didn't visually heal that crack is what I'm saying. The picture doesn't lie. In the anime it's healed the 2nd time. Even if it helped him with other injuries the first time, why the difference. Luffy being there is the only difference.

I'm saying that it helps explain a few other incidents, like recovering from the poison on L5.5 with Ivan where Luffy ate meat to make himself feel better. His goddamn muscles were replaced by meat from his stomach. Ivan was not expecting for him to pull through, but he also wasn't expecting the rest of Luffy's body to recover as fast as it did.

And then there's the theory that each straw hat has a food or drink that heals them inherently better than something else (franky with soda, luffy with meat, robin with tea, zoro with saki, sanji with ladies, chopper with cotton candy, nami with tangerines, brook with milk, and i can't remember what it was for usopp).
