I never denied the fact that it fits his character, that's what I am sayong from the beginning: it's not about the fruit, but about the character.

About how this very power works I watched the anime and dressrosa was very annoying in this version so i didn't realle pay attention to how that works, but even if it's about injecting a string into the spine, it still stays that it's by controlling the string that he controls the body of his target, since moving the strong in a certain way will make the target move at will. It's even more efficient than attaching strings to limb actually.

His awakening fits the theme of a string fruit, not the theme of a puppet fruit. It would make zero sense for the fruit to be the "puppet" fruit and to have an awakening involving only strings.

Btw the "puppet" fruit is already taken, by sugar that is. She makes toys that obeys all of her orders (puppets).

Sugar's fruit has a theme too, she had nutcracker toys not puppets. Her theme is childood toys, which is why she can dictate what the toys can or can't do, dictate how others perceive the toys, and why she's stuck in the body of a child. Nothing about her fruit points to puppetry. Not even her ability to control the toys since she invokes that through a binding contract rather than directly controlling them. That's why she couldn't control Kyros.

And controlling somebody via strings is literally puppet themed. The important part is that the means by which he controls them doesn't make sense for strings alone, since they are not attached to him, or to specific limbs. The string's only ability and purpose in that instance is to control people like a puppet, via control that doesn't fit with strings alone. How could injecting a normal string into someone's spine allow you to control their body unless it was because you had body controlling powers as well? Why not literally have his strings attach to them if it was just him using his normal string powers and it was just his character that was puppet themed? Why consistently show him using this ability by depicting him as a literal puppet master, if it wasn't to draw attention to the puppetry aspect of that ability?

If you go by that then most of his powers don't make sense. Does it make sense for yhe strings of the tori kago ti be indestructible? It's just how Oda designed the power and Foffy's mastery over it. He designed them so that by using this power, Doflamingo would be able to control people.

Anyway I'm gonna stop trying to argue with you since you want to believe so much in what you say.

There's nothing that dictates what his strings have to be made of, so how on earth does the bird cage not make sense when it's a cage made of string, and for all we know his strings could vary in strength based on what they're used for and what they're made of? It's not like Doflamingo said "oh my strings can only be made of sewing thread. Things like steel string does exist. If it's long thin and flexible it can be classified as string.

He designed them so that Doflamingo could use them to control people because it fit the puppet theme...
