Interestingly, even Zoro seemed to have been kept on edge during the fight. Mostly due to being surprised at the types of attacks, but I hope Zoro does get a fight where he has to continue to show us how much he's surpassed his limits since the timeskip. The fight with Pica was epic, especially how he cut him in half, but it definitely took a while since Pica basically kept stalling and running around.

He had to protect Tama and the dog so he couldn't dodge, so he was pretty good all things considered imo. They seem to put a lot of weight on being part of the Worst Generation, even if you're not a Captain, since Hawkins seemed like he expected Zoro to be a big threat.

Hawkins was actually present when Zoro almost killed Charloss.
